For an upcoming group show here in Brooklyn, I decided to paint a Metro North ticket I used on a recent hiking trip I took with Melissa. This painting is 22″ x 30″, gouache and colored pencil on paper.

This week I have a half page illustration in Business Week. The essay, written by French Finance Minister Christine LaGarde was based on the idea that large banks who give their bankers hefty bonuses as rewards for profits are in a way encouraging risky behavior by their bankers. Thanks Patty!

This is a hand painted version of the Boston Globe illustration I completed recently.It was an interesting challenge to create a color image from something that was initially completed in gray scale format.
