My Metro North Ticket….

For an upcoming group show here in Brooklyn, I decided to paint a Metro North ticket I used on a recent hiking trip I took with Melissa. This painting is 22″ x 30″, gouache and colored pencil on paper.

Also, over the weekend I finished this gouache painting on paper. It is 18×22.

A New Painting…

This is a hand painted version of the Boston Globe illustration I completed recently.It was an interesting challenge to create a color image from something that was initially completed in gray scale format.

Dime Bag 3…

Recently I was asked to create a 3″x 3″ piece that fits inside this small plastic bag. The piece will be included in the exhibition, Dime Bag 3. The Dime Bag 3 show is curated as always by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens. The opening is this Saturday night from 6:30-10 at Giant Robot New York. Below is my submission for the show, a portrait of Michael Phelps.
